Dr. Paul Sietmann received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Iowa and earned his Doctor of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry. He is a Board Licensed Therapeutic Optometrist and Glaucoma Specialist by the Texas Optometry Board. He earned his postgraduate certification in Ocular Therapy from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry and he is certified in the Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease by the International Association of the Board of Examiners in Optometry.
Dr. Sietmann is extensively trained in preoperative and postoperative management of cataract and refractive surgery patients including LASIK, PRK and ICL as well as the latest in Refractive Lens Implants such as Vivity, Symfony and Panoptix. He performs comprehensive dilated eye examinations for diagnosis and treatment of ocular disease, including glaucoma, macular degeneration, corneal disease and diabetic retinopathy. He also specializes in fitting soft contact lenses.
Dr. Sietmann has an extensive history of coordinating and being an Investigator for several pharmaceutical studies. He attends Hope Fellowship Church and lives in Frisco where he enjoys spending time with his wife and four wonderful and successful adult children.
