Clinical trials provide an exciting opportunity to our patients to potentially receive the latest technology in intraocular lens implant, medication delivery devices or advanced surgical procedures and often times the device or drug is provided to the patients at no cost. Key-Whitman Eye Center works closely with multiple sponsors and will only participate in clinical trials that we believe can benefit our patients. All of the clinical trials that are conducted at Key-Whitman are compliant with all FDA regulations. Clinical Research is an important aspect of medicine and Key-Whitman is proud to be involved with research and the positive impact that it can have on the ophthalmic community.
