This
is a time to ask your questions and learn about your options. Preliminary
measurements will be taken to help determine your candidacy for refractive
surgery. A counselor will discuss the benefits of the procedure and its
limitations. You will receive pricing information and find out about payment
options . Your counselor will walk you through what to expect each
step of the way.
You will need to have a comprehensive eye examination with one of our doctors and refractive by a certified technician. Computerized Orbscan mapping and other painless tests will be performed at your eye exam. Our caring and well-trained professionals will review all of your measurements and ensure the best decision is made for your vision and your individual surgical plan.
There is no charge for the consultation or obligation to stay for an
examination. Should you elect to stay for or schedule an examination,
upon check-out we will collect $125.00. This amount will be deducted on
surgery day from your total fee. Nothing will be charged or collected
if it is determined that you are not a candidate for refractive surgery
unless you choose to continue with the exam and need a new glasses prescription.
