The doctors at Key-Whitman Eye Center participate in many insurance plans. Bring your insurance cards with you the day of your appointment. Routine eye examinations may not be covered by your insurance. When you call to make your appointment, be sure to provide your insurance information and we will call to verify your benefits and coverage. All HMO's participants will require a referral.

Where You'll Have Your Surgery and How to Make Payment Arrangements
LASIK is performed at Dallas LASIK Center at our Dallas location on the second floor. Most other surgery is performed at the Key-Whitman Surgery Center on the 4th floor also at the Dallas location or in Arlington at the Arlington Day Surgery Center next door to our office. Payment is due on the day of service and can be made by cash, cashier's check, MasterCard, Visa, American Express, or Discover. Many of our patients choose to use our payment plans. You'll receive detailed directions when your surgery is scheduled.

At Key-Whitman Eye Center, our goal is to provide exceptional eye care in a timely manner. We have implemented an appointment/cancellation policy which enables us to better utilize available appointments for our patients in need of eye care.

Cancellations of Appointments
Please call the Key-Whitman Eye Center promptly if you are unable to attend an appointment. This time will be reallocated to someone who is in urgent need of treatment.If it is necessary to cancel your scheduled office appointment we require that you give at least 24 hours notice. You will be assessed a $25.00 fee if you fail to cancel your appointment with the minimum 24 hour notice. Available appointments are in high demand and your early cancellation will give another person the possibility to have access to timely eye care. Surgical Appointments
Cancellation of scheduled surgeries require 24 hours notice.
