Raindrop - Reading Vision Inlay in Dallas/Fort Worth
Frustrated with Reading Glasses? Consults: (855) 600-7296
Are you tired of wearing reading glasses? Starting in our 40s and 50s,
most of us notice we can’t see as well close up (known as presbyopia).
Reading a text message on our phones or deciphering the menu in a dimly
lit restaurant becomes impossible without pulling out reading glasses
- that is if you remembered to bring them along! If you live in the DFW
area, there’s an innovative solution for presbyopia that might be
the answer to your frustrations with wearing reading glasses.
Key-Whitman Eye Center’s Chief Surgeon
Dr. Jeffrey Whitman is the first Dallas eye surgeon to perform the Raindrop Near Vision Inlay,
a procedure used to correct presbyopia or the loss of reading vision.
In fact, Dr. Whitman was a lead investigator in the clinical trials and
has performed more procedures than any other doctor in the nation. If
you are not satisfied with your reading vision or if you have difficulty
seeing objects up close, contact the Key-Whitman team right away.

Consultations are free and offered at our Dallas office.
Understanding How Raindrop Near Vision Inlay Works
The Raindrop is a small 2 mm implant made of hydrogel that is gently placed
in the cornea of the non-dominant eye. Because the cornea is given a slightly
steeper surface, the eye is able to focus on near objects and print.
